In these last days, everything seems to be crazy about COVID-19, but there is also a bright side of things-we have much more time to spend together with mom. And she’s cooking me more than ever. Today, I will show you how she made some ugly liver biscuits … yass, because they turned out ugly, but very very rich. Nooom!
Generally speaking, chicken liver is an excellent addition to our dog’s diet because it contains protein, vitamins, nutrients, and much more.
In the case of broccoli, it is a great source of vitamins, fiber, magnesium, potassium and iron. Carrots are very good for our ptes eyes and their general well-being. They also strengthen your immune system. Vegetables can be served raw or, in case they don’t want to eat it like that, you can steam them so they don’t lose their properties.

This is a really easy recipe and you only need these few ingredients, which I’m sure you have at home:
- 350g chicken livers
- 100g broccoli
- 100g grated carrot
- Oatmeal flour
- Coconut oil
Preparing these cookies for your dog is really easy. Simply put all the ingredients together and beat them. After that, put all of the mixture in a silicone pan if you have one* and bake in a preheated oven.
Temperature: 175 C (350 F)
Cooking time: 15-20 min.
* As you can see in the photos, I do not have a silicone mold. I really don’t need it and neither do you (you better not buy these days). Just put baking paper or foil on the baking sheet and grease with a little coconut oil or olive oil.
Take a teaspoon and put the cookie mix you made earlier on the cookie sheet. The “shape” does not matter. What your dog is looking for is the flavor.
Store them in a closed, dry place.
